New York Times bestselling author Bernard Goldberg argues that the left-leaning mainstream media crossed the line during the 2008 presidential election campaign and helped to determine the outcome…. More >>

This is not much more than a screed in which Goldberg stoops to manipulating and re-sequencing media interviews to make his points. No wonder he got fired from mainstream media.

There is much bias in the conservative press as well as the liberal. A book that talked openly about both wouldn’t be bought by anyone. A book that talks about one can only be biased.

Here is yet another libelous author trying to make a buck off of Obama’s popularity and the history he made. Why don’t he write a book about how the media was in the tank for JLo and Michael Jackson for some extra cash.
So what if Obama got alot of exposure and tanked the media. How does that really affect me if I already know how to make up my own mind? Is this author trying to be condescending by implying Americans can’t make decisions for themselves? Even if I can’t make up my own mind and let someone else choose for me, should Obama suffer libel because of it?
So you say the press is biased. Tell us something we don’t already know. They’ve been accused of bias and favoritism for many years now. Why make an even bigger deal because Obama is now on the scene. Sounds like some singling out to me, and not on the right side.
People love Obama and his message. What’s wrong with that? They loved him at the 2004 DNC and he had but little coverage then. How do you explain that?
This type of talk comes from divisive, perhaps racist individuals who refuse to say Obama won this fair and square. And there are obviously some ulterior motives going on here.
Naysayers, like this author, still stuck in the 60’s, don’t care for Obama for one, because he shatters some of the notions long held by some that paint Blacks with a broad brush. They are uncomfortable with that. So he writes a book trying to pretend to be bothered by the media when in fact this is a cover for his true dislike and envy of President Obama for his tremendous significance and importance in the world for starters. Why else would he write something like this, in addition to putting a new Mercedes in his garage from the proceeds?
The election is over and the people have spoken.
As far as I’m concerned, this book is a day late and a dollar short. This author is being the same way he accuses the media: biased. He is trying to turn you off in part, because he is disgusted with Obama and the adulation he received.
It’s time for this author to make a living writing more positive journalism instead of wasting trees on libel that has no real significance after the fact. Perhaps that’s too much to ask as scandal and gossip renders fatter paychecks in journalism.
BTW, If I were Obama I would sue this author for stealing that photograph of him as well.

Don’t Bother. Bernard Goldberg is a liar and a fool. If you like Limbaugh and that ilk, you’ll love this drivel. If you have a functioning cerebellum however, run for your life!!!

Sophmoric attempt at serious writing? yes – This book is really a messy attempt by this Fox analyst to write a book for conservatives – I wouldn’t waste my money on this nonsense as I did – The book was so bad I threw it out after 4 chapters. If I’m going to read something I agree or many times disagree with – I at least want it to be well written.
