  1. As a conservative, I found the cover offensive. However, except for bashing the No Child Left Behind Act, the author comes across as politically neutral (compared to this documentaries, which are obviously liberal). Although there is a great deal of helpful information in the text, a price of more than ten dollars or so for a book this small (about a half-inch thick) seems like a rip-off.

Shipping was very fast, thank you ! The price was outrageous for this book but that was not Amazons fault. I was very disappointed to see how small the book was for such a big price. I did however recieve it in time for my class. Thank you

This book is a very dense read, but it was required for my EDF 475 class… so I needed nonetheless. Once you get past the way the text is written, it’s really not so bad.

This book helped me learn a little more about American Education and some of its “ins and outs”.

I was surprised by the things I thought were true that were not. It is a great book for a student of Education (graduate students usually are required to read it at some point)
