There are a few Realities that the author ignores, very conveniently. He alleges to be a scientist, but ignores Science. This is a mention of a few items the allegedly researched author avoids in his presentation of God as a human invention, and Christ’s Crucifixion ‘not mentioned in writing until a couple decades later’. (Not many know few things were put in writing in Biblical times; Very few could read; but memory would be called photographic now because Accuracy was everything.

(1) There is the ‘first photograph’ in History of the Dead Christ, exactly as the Bible describes his wounds with an image on the Shroud apparently generated by “Energy” within His corps, as he was apparently Resurrecting. It is called The Shroud of Turin (Negative; reversed is ‘First Photo’). The Shroud of Turin is said to be the most studied item by scientists on earth. This Century, during the last 9 years, it has been determined by all kinds scientists, including the Isreali state Botanist, atheists, all kinds that:

(a) The Shroud is a rare, then expensive First Century Syrian Weave, which is named. The 1400’s radiocarbon dated cloth were Patches put on the Shroud by Nuns to cover the medieval burn marks, then.

(b) The Shroud has No paint on it.

(c) The Image is totally impossible for humans to Reproduce, as docummented in 4 one hour Cable TV productions.

(d) Scientists guess that it was ‘energy rays’ from Within the body of Christ that caused the fading image on the Shroud. Quite impossible for Any Human to reproduce.

(e) Only the Energy of the confirmed dead Christ coming to life can explain the Very defined image, front and back, depicting the exact biblically described Christ, with the Roman Era lash marks countable on his back, the Lance mark in his side, his type of Blood from the blood lines on his head, Spikes. The Crown of Thorns punctures are clearly visible. Not many know that the Wood-carving INRI at the top of His Cross is still in Rome. As are portions of The Cross, and the Spikes used to nail his Wrists, as was the custom.

(2) A scientist not believing a Creator? Where did the Intelligence so ibvious in the Universe come from? The Laws of Mathematics, of Nature, of evolution were Placed by “The Master Mind” in a ’subatomic particle’ (Only way science can decribe Nothing) a known number of years ago? There are thousands of galaxies, more stars than are grains of sand on all beaches.

Where did the laws of Nature come from? The laws of Gravity, electrical attractions? Know how Life is thought to have begun on Earth? Globs of Algea as still exist off South Australia, Carbonascious and Amino acids Initiating the life process are thought to be the first multi-celullar life grounded, sometimes out of water.

Where did the first atoms come from? And How? I can’t understand how anyone can ignore the Obvious Great Intelligence in everything.

Where did your intelligence come from? Evolution is Very obviously proven. Everytiong is evolving except the elements and laws of Math, of Nature, of Chemistry.

And the Publisher, developer of the Big Bang Theory in the 1920’s, 100% Proven now by the Rate of Expansion of the universe recent years was Belgian Catholic Professor/Priest Dr/Fr Geoges Lemaitre in the 1920’s. Albert Einstein had Very highest respect for Dr/Fr Lemaitre. Few realize that the principal Scientists in Europe 500 years ago were Catholic Clergy. The Church began western Science in the Medieval Era, to understand the Natural world also, quite contrary to the false anti-religious hype of over a century.

And quite the opposite of the religion/science opposites hype of only less than 200 years, my own Jesuit Physics Professor at small Spring Hill College, Mobile AL in the late 1950’s was National News for Media when Earthquakes were detected anyplace in the world. Fr/Dr Luis Eisle, SJ had developed a Direction of the Earthquake locator for his simple Seismograph. Major News media called him 1958, 1959 for the direction.

Mr Wright may need to Think, Research a little further before misleading the public About God, The Universe, Nature, Us. God is No human invention, Mr Wright. Research Science sites of the “Big Bang Theory”, and “The Shroud Of Turin”, among others.

Boring. The book makes up ideas then spends 30 pages of footnotes to proventhe bs. very disappointing If it wew 200 pages it might e interesting.

All these books about God, whether there is such a thing, or how He evolved, or even if he didn’t evolve, are more or less the products of writers who have no firm ground to stand on nor guiding star to point their way. This, of course, applies to Robert Wright and his new book, “The Evolution of God.”

In the first place, Mr. Wright knows nothing about the ancient Gnosis, or more specifically, Astronomical Mythology. I am not referring to the Elain Pagels sort of “gnosis,” which isn’t knowledge of any kind, nor am I referring to popular archaeoastronomy, which merely delves into sun and moon cycles and how early man used the position of the sun to determine when to plant their crops.

The genuine Gnosis of the Ancients actually traces the origin of a Deity through the evolution of their mythological astronomy. For instance, the first circle in the mind-brain was drawn “in heaven” by the rotation of the Great Bear, or Big Dipper, or Ursa Major, around the Pole Star, the one light in the sky that never set. There were seven of these stars used to mark the center of the rotating universe, each in succession over the course of the Earth’s Great Year of 26,000 years.

Inasmuch as early man did not know that sexual intercourse was the “mechanism” that brought about the conception and birth of a child, there could not be a Father-God in heaven. Early man knew very well that the sole producer of a baby was the female, the Mother. So for many thousands of years, there was only the Goddess, or Creatrix. It was only about 11,000 years ago that the male of our species discovered that he also played a role in the creation of a baby. When that discovery was made, the males of our species turned against the Woman and

“Cast Her Out,” as it stated in the Book of Revelation Ch. 17, verses 5, 6,where “upon her head was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLONG THR GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

Of course, the Jewish people had their own “casting out” rituals, beginning with Jehovah, which “in the beginning” was a feminine name. They made it a crime to even say the word so that the “Goddess” would eventually be erased from the racial memory.

So, what I am saying is that “The Evolution of God,” as the title of Robert Wright’s book is a non sequitur. It doesn’t make sense. Man is evolving, of course. What very few scientists and scholars will admit to themselves is that not only did man evolve to the present rather mediocre level of consciousness but, in fact, is still in a state of organic evolution. More importantly, this evolution had a definite target, i.e., it is indelibly stamped on the brain. That target is called Cosmic Consciousness, or Super-Consciouness.

If the author of “The Evolution of God” had been more conversant with the Vedas or other Hindu Scriptures, he would have known that the ancient adepts knew a great deal about the brain and how it could be more or less made to accelerate its evolution to bring about a state of Enlightenment. This process of accelerated evolution can be scientifically demonstrated today, what with such advancements in our electronics, that is, brain-scanning equipment, etc.

Only when scientists become serious about human consciousness research will scholars, especially academics, be in the position to write about “the evolution of God.” That day could be a near as tomorrow or many centuries in the future, dependent upon how obstinate or stubborn scholars and scientists continue to be.
